FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about credit, completion, certificates, records and how to reach us. The completion rules also appear on every course page.
What is The ConEd Solution?
The ConEd Solution, LLC develops short online continuing education courses for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Each course reports one published study or review and cites it, and each is reviewed and signed off by a licensed clinician, the instructor of record, whose name and credentials appear on the course page and on the certificate.
How much credit does a course award?
Each course awards contact hours, and one contact hour is 60 minutes. The credit is shown on the course page and on the certificate as hours with the minutes beside them, for example “1.0 contact hour (60 min)”. The minutes are the time the course takes to read, listen to and complete the post-test.
What do I have to do to earn the credit?
Three things, in order. Complete every lesson: lessons complete on their own as you go through them, and the podcast lesson completes when the episode has played to the end. Pass the post-test with a score of 80% or higher; you may retake it. Submit the short course evaluation. The certificate is issued the moment the evaluation is submitted.
Is there a time limit?
A course stays open for 90 days from the day you buy it. Within those 90 days nothing is timed: no lesson has a clock, and neither does the post-test. After 90 days the course closes; your completion record and certificate stay in your account.
Will my state board accept the credit?
The ConEd Solution, LLC holds no approval from any state licensing board and claims none. Whether a board accepts a course toward renewal is set out in that state’s acceptance statement, and your state’s statement prints on the second page of your certificate. Confirm with your own board before you rely on a course for renewal.
Do you report my credit to my board or to CE Broker?
No. You submit the certificate to your board yourself, when your board asks for it.
How do I get my certificate?
It is issued the moment you complete a course. Open My Account and then Certificates to download it, or download all of your certificates at once. Certificates stay in your account for as long as the account exists, so a lost copy is downloaded again, not replaced.
What is on the certificate?
Your name and credentials; your license type, state and number; the course title and code; the credit awarded and the date completed; the learning objectives; the instructor of record; and a verification number. The second page carries the course description, the timed outline, the instructor’s qualifications and your state’s acceptance statement.
Can someone check that my certificate is real?
Yes. The Verify page confirms a certificate from its number and the last name on it, and shows only what the certificate itself shows.
Can I change my name, credentials or license number?
Not from your account. They print on every certificate you earn, so they are fixed once the account exists. A legal change, after a marriage for example, is made by us on request with documentation; use the Contact page. Your license state, renewal date, email address and password you can change yourself under Account details.
How long do you keep my records?
For as long as your account exists. If you ask to close your account, it closes 30 days later; you get a reminder each week, and you can change your mind at any point in those 30 days. After that, the record that each certificate was issued is kept as our own record, because a licensing board can audit a certificate years after it was earned. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
How do I raise a complaint?
Use the Contact page, or write to The ConEd Solution, LLC, 3158 Parliament Circle, Montgomery, AL 36116. A complaint can be about the accuracy of a course, a technical failure, a charge, or a certificate that did not arrive. You will have an acknowledgment within 2 business days and a written decision within 14 days. Complaint records are kept with our continuing-education records.
I need an accommodation. What do I do?
Ask through the Contact page, or write to the address above, saying which course and what would help. You will have an answer within 5 business days, at no charge. The Accessibility and Accommodations page says what the site provides today.
Who is the instructor of record?
The licensed clinician who reviewed the course and signed off on it. The name and credentials are on the course page, under the Instructor of record tab, and on the certificate.
